I am a registered professional with the Careers Development Institute, holding two Level 6 qualifications in Careers Leadership and Careers Guidance and Development. I have over 25 years’ experience teaching and managing in both the state and private education sectors, and I thrive on networking with employers and stakeholders to build inspiring and informative careers education and events for young people.

I strongly believe we all have a role to play in supporting young people as they prepare for their future, helping them develop employability and enterprise skills, and encouraging high aspirations.

Alongside my consultancy work coaching individuals, advising families, and collaborating with employers, I speak on careers education - addressing audiences ranging from small community and parent groups to national stages. I have spoken at national events such as the Skills and Employability Summit, the Institute of Student Employers Conference, and The Careers and Enterprise Company’s Senior Leader Conference.

I also create careers content and regularly write for media publications. In 2025, my book Career Conversations With Your Child was published to help inform parents as they support their child through the final stages of compulsory education and into employment. A parent manual that aims to equip parents with the knowledge they need to confidently engage in career conversations with their child.
